Activator Methods

Activator Methods uses a small, hand-held instrument called the Activator Adjusting Instrument to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a safe, non-compressive treatment, using solid filiform needles, to release tight muscles and fascia both superficial and deep, increasing blood flow to the treated area, and restoring normal, pain-free function.

Flexion-Distraction

Utilizing a motorized flexion-distraction table, the doctor applies contact with his/her hand superior to the level of a herniated or bulging disc while the table flexes and distracts the vertebral joints below (distal to) the doctor’s contact, allowing the disc space(s) to distract and the jelly-like nucleus pulposus of the inner herniated or bulging disc(s) to retract, reducing pressure on the impinged nerve.
